Day Out With Divya Darling

Had a lunch date with my beloved Divya today. We had Délifrance, Mid Valley. We ordered Old Fashioned Chicken Pie and Fish and Wedges.

The Old Fashioned Chicken Pie...and the Fish and Wedges.

Lunch was food-and-laughter-filled! Ahaha.

The aftermath (Gaah~!):

Ru hearts Divya!

Halfway through lunch, I got a call from Desmond. How nice of him! Mm hmmm, can’t wait ‘til Monday.

After lunch, Div and I got two tickets for Shutter then headed for Michelle’s workplace to say ‘hi’ after. Teehee. Ooh and before we headed back to GSC to catch our movie, we bumped into this bunch of cute friendly angmo guys... and before we bumped into them, we saw this:

I pity them fishes... I really do!

Shutter was aight laa… ‘Nywho, after the movie we went to buy rich chocolate (long story—refuse to type it out here). We grabbed two rolls of Crispy Popiah on the way too. We then proceeded to the KTM station shortly after, but before we left the premises, we managed to wave goodbye to Michelle.

On our way down, Div’s phone rang and she answered it. It was a friend asking her some question bout attire and whatnot. ‘Nywho, when we got to the platform, as usual, it was jam-packed with people. We talked for a bit until the train arrived. Then there was the hurdle of getting aboard. The problem with idiotic Malaysian commuters is that they expect to be able to board the friggin’ train WITHOUT allowing the alighting commuters to get outta the friggin’ train first! So somehow, Div and I managed to squeeze our way into the train and made our ways home! Yay!

Just a reminder (for no particular reason whatsoever): To always be careful in public places, not only for the safety of your belongings but the safety of yourself as well (which, by the way, is WAY more important).

Call me a granny, idc!

Always be on guard. Take the pain to constantly ensure that your stuffs are with you at all times.

For a safer bet, keep one hand IN YOUR POCKET and hold on to your stuff if possible. Having a hand in there reduces the likeliness of getting pick-pocketed. (Think these ass-wipes are stupid 'zit? They pick their 'victims'... So don't give them the opportunity lah!)

If you’ve got chunted accessories, try not to flash them in public—very dangerous especially with shitheads like them prowling and lurking around.

Be sensitive to your surroundings. Look around and train yourself to sense the slightest of movement around you (e.g. your hair being touched, your buttocks being rubbed against, your bag(s) being shoved, etc.)

Remember, prevention is ALWAYS better than cure! (Drill this into that thick skull of yours.) Yes, I am aware that we’re all humans, and humans DO make mistakes. So, if such incidences weren’t able to be dodged, then keep in mind that everything happens for a reason… Learn from these foolish mistakes and make sure you never cross paths with them again!

"Shadow Of The Day"

I close both locks below the window
I close both blinds and turn away
Sometimes solutions aren't so simple
Sometimes goodbye's the only way

And the sun will set for you
The sun will set for you
And the shadow of the day
Will embrace the world in grey
And the sun will set for you

In cards and flowers on your window
Your friends all plead for you to stay
Sometimes beginnings aren't so simple
Sometimes goodbye's the only way

And the sun will set for you
The sun will set for you
And the shadow of the day
Will embrace the world in grey
And the sun will set for you

*Ru smiles...*

And the shadow of the day
Will embrace the world in grey
And the sun will set for you

*Ru smiles and bobs to the pulse of the drum*

And the shadow of the day
Will embrace the world in grey
And the sun will set for you
