Oh my gawd! You can just FEEL the pain!

I've never felt like this before... It hurts... It's as if my heart sank into my body and it was hurting... Why do humans perform such acts? It's despicable! How do they console and allow themselves to do such things? Do they not have compassion? Why does it seem like they are immune to the presence of the pain these living creatures experience? Argh! ...AND knowing the existence of such forms of animal cruelty, how can and why would one still support and contribute to this appalling trade?

"A SHOCKING LOOK INSIDE CHINESE FUR FARMS"

"Skinned alive"

"
When undercover investigators made their way onto Chinese fur farms recently, they found that many animals are still alive and struggling desperately when workers flip them onto their backs or hang them up by their legs or tails to skin them. When workers on these farms begin to cut the skin and fur from an animal's leg, the free limbs kick and writhe. Workers stomp on the necks and heads of animals who struggle too hard to allow a clean cut."

"When the fur is finally peeled off over the animals' heads, their naked, bloody bodies are thrown onto a pile of those that have gone before them. Some are still alive, breathing in ragged gasps and blinking slowly. Some of the animals' hearts are still beating five to 10 minutes after they are skinned. One investigator recorded a skinned raccoon dog on the heap of carcasses who had enough strength to lift his bloodied head and stare into the camera."

"Before they are skinned alive, animals are pulled from their cages and thrown to the ground; workers bludgeon them with metal rods or slam them on hard surfaces, causing broken bones and convulsions but not always immediate death. Animals watch helplessly as workers make their way down the row."

My two cents' worth:
(Please excuse my language. Desperate times call for desperate measures.)
"WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?! YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO HUMAN BEINGS!! FUCK , YOU DON'T EVEN DESERVE TO BE CALLED 'PEOPLE'!! YOU FUCKING ASS-WIPES SHOULD BE HEAD-SLAMMED, HUNG UPSIDE DOWN AND SKINNED ALIVE!! ...SICK-FUCKTARDS! (No wonder laa China nowadays has been experiencing horrendous tragedies and misfortunes. Tsk tsk tsk... *scoffs*)"

Made my FIRST bed today!

It was uber-fun wei! We got into groups and we all worked together to make our beds! Ahaha...
  • 1 'sifu'

  • 4 mitre corners
  • 4 pillows and their pillow cases
We did it! Tries after tries... In the end... We managed to sell our room! (As approved by Miss Kit) *smiles hard*
I actually had fun eh! Guess I got the right team members... Ahaha... We worked hard and laughed even harder! Wakakakaka...

Labor’s Day in Johor

Went down to Johor on Labor’s Day.
Main purpose: To pay Yeye (Grandpa) a visit! Teehee!
Yeye was admitted to the hospital few days back. =(
BUT he’s getting better already… YAY! =]

So since we were on the way down, we decided to stop by Ah Nam’s place for lunch.
Yummy yum yum!

"Mm mmm good..."

Minutes later... Food's GONE into our tummies!!
Sadly can't find stuff like that to eat in KL laa.
Gotta drive all the way to Senai... *sighs*
Ahaha... Mommy is soooo cute in this picture laa!!
Check Shan out and her glorious rubble of ...
"Helloooooooooo there Shan Shan!"

AHAHA... Do you see what I see?
(Eeek... the small guy waving at the back.)

Women and (their) shades...
We arrived at Yeye's temporary 'hotel' (the S.A. Hospital) at about 1235... Came here before so we weren't that lost... Eventually we found our way to Yeye's bed. Yay! So sad to see him in the condition he was in... ='( ...after a while, more and more relatives came to visit. Yeye even exclaimed, "Ever since I was admitted to the hospital, today is the day the most number of people paid me a visit." ...Awwwwww.

I didn't take any pictures in the hospital... Mainly cause I felt it'll be rude lorr. (Oi, the hospital is not your grandfather's one 'kay! There are also other patients present... A li'l respect for their privacy here, woman!!) AHAHA! I mean, think bout it... Being in the hospital is already not a good thing--banged-up, not properly groomed and all... (Heck, if I were the one in the hospital bed, and there's this punk who wants to take a snapshot of me... I'll give him/her something to take a picture of! Ugh...) Correct marr, no meh? Am fortunate enough a'dy to be able to meet him in person. Wanna take a picture of him some more arr? Tsk tsk tsk... Where can?? Even if can also I will not allow myself to do so.

'Nywho, Yeye's seems better, health wise, when we met him that day in the hospital... Not like when we heard him on the phone-- he sounded so 'weak'. Was so glad to see him smile and all. He was also able to laugh, eat (despite his poor apatite), cut a slice of apple for himself and crack jokes (Ahaha! Now I know where my dad and uncles get their sense of humor from wei!) I especially loved the parts when I gave him a photo of him and I in a frame, and he smiled as he looked at it then close his eyes, resting the photo frame on his belly, not letting go... and how he waved goodbye enthusiastically with a oxygen mask on and yet had a happy smile plastered on his face.

After the visit, we went to grab a bite to eat then branched off to Hyatt Hotel (to look-see look-see and also to pinjam their loo--ahaha!! ...What!??)
Ooo, anddddd... I managed to capture this:

Lovely isn't it? Almost like a postcard.
(Double click on image to admire from a nearer angle.)
Absolutely b-e-a-u-tiful!
Damn, my photography skills have improved! Gaah~~!

Okay, then AFTER that, we travelled to 妈妈's house to pay HER a visit. Teehee!
Am soooooooooooooooo happy I managed to see her. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeh!
Miss her lots!
(Ru, 妈妈, Shan and 妈妈's cute li'l granddaughter)
Uber-sweetness!

Overall, I enjoyed myself today.
I saw lots and learned lots.
Am thankful for the things I have and the things I've been blessed with.
I appreciate life more and more each day.
There's so much out there that I've yet to experience...
Yet, I don't feel the need to rush.
I can just remain in this time frame forever and still be happy and contented.

Spread the love, y'all!
Cheers!
