Farewell-(Lunch)-Gathering-Outing

Oh my gawd! Time really does ‘fly’ when I’m having fun, in’it? A year ago, Yi Lin was just interested to go abroad and filling in forms for AFS and whatnot. ...and in about TWO weeks time, she’ll be flying off to Ibaraki-ken, Japan for an entire year!

I still remember the first time we became friends in Sec. 1 and all-them-hullabaloos in between. Damn, kinda hard to believe 5 years have (already) just flashed us by.

So, in conjunction with her farewell, we decided to all go out for lunch together—for ol’ time sake.

We went to…

The afternoon started off slow, but began picking up speed sometime after we had food in our tummies! Hehehe…

[Ming Wai, Yee Ling, Ru]
[Khang Lam, Michelle, Jessie, Raymond]
Yi Lin was the photographer.

Ming Wai... Ming Wai...
siap posing with his cawan mushi some-more!
{Ehh, stoopid larr this video upload system on blogspot! Takes so friggin' long to upload a 52-seconds-long video and then it mysteriously just starts over when it feels like it! Was suppose to upload a vid' of "Yee Ling taking on some wasabi action" but... argh! *sighs*}

'Nywho,
Mmm... Check out Yi Lin's ice-cream!

Ru, Jessie and Yi Lin...

"Am soooooo gonna miss YOU, Lin!"

We hung around in Saisaki until they had to remind us that they were gonna ‘close shop’ real soon—ahahaha!

After lunch, we dawdled around until we decided what oughtta be next, on the itinerary. Next thing we knew, we were walking towards the LRT station. The day was still ‘young’ but sadly Jessie had to say goodbye to attend to her (other) responsibilities.

The day went on and one by one began disappearing home.

…And then there were 5ive. Now these 5ive little jobless youngsters decided to end the day with coffee and a whole lotta (memorable) photos! …photos we can all look back at (and laugh at even).

Coffee 'nyone?

.:Ru hearts Yi Lin:.

.:Ru hearts Yee Ling too:.

Ooh my gosh! Yee Ling & Yi Lin are soooo cute!

Ru and Ming Wai...

Ru and Kheng Lam...

and... Ru and um, Miss Chin??...

Them 'jobless youngsters'...
doing what they do BEST...
acting jobless—HAHAHA!

I totally enjoyed the day. I enjoyed not only the food we had but also the company I had. The food prolly wouldn’t have tasted so darn good without ‘em there with me really! (Come on, you too have gotta agree that eating alone is just suckishly sad and could prolly be like one of the crappiest feelings ever, no? Teehee…)

Everyone seems to have already made up their minds about what they’re gonna do after receiving their results next week (and I haven’t even decided which course I’m gonna take on, gosh!) and almost all of us are going separate ways to pursue our respective careers. It’s no longer gonna be like High School—y’know, back when we all study the same thing ‘cause ultimately we will all sit for the same government exam… and the fun part—we all attend the same tuition center. (This, more often than not, means having lunch together!)

Darn it larr!

Someday, my grandchild is gonna go,
"THAT's MY Grandmamma!"
