A Summation of Semester ONE!

I'm approaching Semester 2 come Monday next week. Gotta admit, I'm a li'l excited all at the same time am getting jittery!

Semester 1 was very fun and "activity-packed"(tryna be polite here) but it was a good sem' nonetheless. There were many occasions where I would tell myself, "Ru, you're gonna go blog 'bout this this this and that..." but they never materialized. Ahah! So jeah, I've decided to dig out all the needed photos to wrap-up those unpublished post and post them one-shot under this post entitled: "A Summation of Semester ONE!"

Dip 2/08 Semester Break Outing

This one was taken after Dip 2/08's recent outing last Tuesday. Teehee... Abii, Rachel, Jeffry and I went home by train so we took a photo. (Thanks Jeff!) We went to Times Square to karaoke in Neway... It was fun really! Couldn't stop laughing... Well, who can with fun friends like them! Neway managed to squeeze 14 of us in a room - Ahaha! Got to know them a li'l better after karaoke. We now know can sing and who cannot... who likes to sing and who don't like to sing... and who likes to sing but cannot sing! Muahahahaa...

And then... Mr Alex, Leow, Yung and I went off to play a few games of pool while the rest were still attending "U Keong's concert". (Hehehe!)

Mr Alex and I teamed up while Leow and Yung were in one team.
Results: 2-0
Wooohoooo! *Ru high fives Mr Alex* Although we only managed to squeeze in two games... we had fun!

Then later that afternoon, Leow, Nigel and U Keong left for IELTS class in college. After sending them off with a fond farewell... We decided to go for a movie - The Dark Night!
Sadly Mr Alex and Yung couldn't join us. On a whole, the movie was good. Liked how Heath Ledger protrayed the Joker...

Monday: Lunch Date with Divya

Today's Monday. First Monday of my Semester break (not like there's another... but jeah!) Spent the entire morning snoozing. Shared my afternoon with Div' darling. We had lunch and we shared a yummi-fied Walnut Brownie in Secret Recipe! (O-kay... fine! She had one mouthful and I had the entire slice... I gave into temptation, I know! - Oh, bite me!)
Exchanged glances with a hot Caucasian guy across the restaurant. (Damn, he was H-O-T!) ...He was having a meal with a buncha other guys who looked like photogs, agents and whatnot. So Div and I concluded he's prolly a model or some some. Ahh well... he was hot laa but my Walnut Brownie was way hotter! *tongue*
Then we did a li'l shopping after that.

My unwell-ness has gone from bad to worse! Like it leveled up or some some. Ahaha... It started from a sore throat to inflamed tonsils... then it went on to coughing. Followed by fever and now the flu is the newest member of the 'family'! Argh!

I was coughing and sneezing throughout my my exams yesterday... Gawd!

But towards the night, it became rather farny actually... That was when I broke my own record (by two folds), of 3 consecutive sneezes, by sneezing 6 friggin' times continuously... with a tissue up my nose! Foooof! Ahaha!

Woooohoooo! Try to beat that... Gimme a kring kring if you do and we'll talk then, 'kay?! AHAH!

My Sem 1 Finals is like next week… and I ain’t even halfway with my revision! *Dreadful enactment of an anxiety attack*

Wo-kay, fine… It ain’t half as bad as I depicted it to be. BUT the thought of it IS freakishly frightening, not to mention taunting even. *gulps*…especially when you’re an exam candidate like me *ahem* who, in a Cantonese saying describes, when wanna go ‘orr-si’ (poop) then only go find toilet paper. AHAHA… Well, it’s true eh, to some extent! ‘Cause like I’ll only start studying a few days before THE DAY. That’s how good I am at procrastinating! *tongue* (Yikes, somebody help this woman… please!)

Fortunately for me, more often than not, I drift through my examinations just fine. *grins*

Anywho, I’ve got another week before the confucianism begins. Gonna try and finish my revision before then. Oh wait but I’ve got the Mid Term Partay to attend to this weekend… (Wooopies! Guess revision will just have to be put off ‘til after the party then! *naughty smile*)

But like am sooooooooo not gonna only go find toilet paper when I’m about to give birth to them brown babies, ‘kay? Am gonna standby a fresh roll for next week’s skirmish with my exam papers!! Muahahahahaa… (Oits! Not literally laa wei! You won’t be seeing no rolls of toilet paper on the top-right corner of my table during the exams!)
