I got tagged!

Instructions: Remove ONE question from below, and add in your personal question, make it a total of 20 questions, then tag 8 people in your list, list them out at the end of this post. Notify them in their chat box that he/she has been tagged. Whoever does the tag will have blessings from all.

1. Who is your all-time inspiration?
My mommy dearest. Teehee.

2. Have you given your first kiss away?

*shrugs* Ahaha… something for me to know and for you to find out.

3. If you were to be stranded on a deserted island, who are the 3 blog buddies you would take with you? Why?
Joanna – We always have fun (laughing away) when we’re together.

Ming Wai – Good company and I know he wouldn’t eat me even if I was the last edible thing on the island.
Shou Yi – Can do a lot of catching up on the island and knowing that he’ll be there in the event that I (and/or the rest) completely lose faith while the four of us battle for our lives.

4. Where is the place that you want to go the most?
Hawaii – the people, fruits, hula girls, the possibility of dying in a volcano eruption (ahaha) and ooh the beach-buff-bodied guys *ahem*!

5. If you can have 1 dream to come true, what would it be?
To lead a fulfilling and successful life until an old, ripe age.

6. Do you believe in seeing a rainbow after the rain?
Sometimes.

7. What are you afraid to lose the most now?
My family.

8. If you win $1 million, what would you do?
Spread the love, bay-beh(baby)! *grin*

9. If you meet someone that you love, would you confess to him/her?
*shrugs* I guess it all depends on who that person is and how the situation is like and stuff lorr. Just because I’ve met THE ONE (and fallen) doesn’t mean I have to pounce on him and make my statement. Am still young. *smile*

10. List out 3 good points of the person who tagged you.
Vanny arr…. She’s uber-friendly! She’s smart! And she’s a hopeless romantic! How sweet!

11. What are the requirements that you wish from your other half?
Nothing in particular. But it’s very important for him NOT to be abusive, a cheat and a low life.

12. What's one thing you've always wanted to do, but never have?
To sky dive! (And/or bungee jump.) Can’t wait! Whooooooh!

13. What is your ambition?
To be a successful individual be it in life, academics, marriage, at bringing up my family, at work and/or being a part of society.

14. If you have faults, would you rather the people around you point out to you or would you rather they keep quiet?
I wouldn’t mind having the people around me point it out to me… However, I would certainly appreciate it if I was told (off) in a subtle way. Teehee… I don’t take harsh and blaring ways very well.

15. When is the time that you wished to turn back?
I’m actually pretty contented with my life at this point. I believe that everything happens for a reason. Have it not been for my stoopid ways I prolly won’t be where I am today. Of course the thought of being able to relive a moment again just so I could have rectify my wrongs have crossed my mind but these reruns in my mind are all they will ever be… for now.

16. Are you a shopaholic or not?
Fortunately, no. Ahaha. I’m more of the ‘I’ll-go-shopping-only-if-I-have-something-to-buy’ kinda person.

17. Find a word to describe the person who tagged you.
Welcoming. *nods*

18. If you have a chance, which part of your character you would like to change?
I wanna rid my ‘procrastination’ traits!
Like up to the point where IF there was surgery to do so, I would opt for it!!

19. What's your target age for you to get marry?
Age is secondary when it comes to marriage for me really. (Of course it’d be great if I could settle down before I hit 30 larr) but honestly, it’s prolly when he and I are sincerely committed, financially and emotionally stable and when the both of us feel we’re ready and it’s time.

20. What is the thing on earth that you want it to disappear?
Selfishly, I would have said mosquitoes! I really hate ‘em—I do!

However, selflessly I’d say pain. I know pain receptors are good in a way that they alert you if something is wrong but don’t you think life would be so much more pleasant without having to experience it and/or watch the ones you love go through it too?
So jeah, I’d say pain.

Alrightee, MY turn! I tag:

  • Amirul
  • Gustave
  • Joanna
  • Jonathan
  • Kevin
  • Mei Yi
  • Ming Wai
  • Nicholas
  • Shou Yi
  • Stephanie

Just HOW steady are your hands?

So today begin like any other 'ordinary' day...
I got up... did the usual...
In the afternoon I popped by KLCC for lunch and did a li'l shoppin'... (ahaha...)
Got home... chilled for a bit... watched a little TV.
Watched two movies; one on HBO (Accepted), the next one on Cinemax (Black Widow Murders).
And then um, the next thing I knew... it was dinner time! (Wheeeeeeeeeeeh! Food!)

Later at night (like now), went online... was on MSN-- biasa-laa right, chat chat and whatnot.
Then while chatting with Vincent, he asked me to try this game. Seeing I also had nothing much to do, I decided, "Ok laa, why not?" Teehee...

And FOOOOOOOF! It is uber-fun! (kinda laa.)
Sadly, you have to like stop all playing music for it to load better.
Oh and don't forget to
turn up the volume when playing Level THREE 'cause instructions will be given in audio form then.
Level ONE and TWO was okay... kinda easy... but Level THREE is a little tricky (honestly)...
Neither Vincent nor I have managed to pass it (just) yet. Maybe it's just the both of us (y'know shaky hands and all--argh!)
Perhaps you guys are better at it than we are...
Go on. Give it a try if you think you can do better.

Here:
http://www.winterrowd.com/maze/
[WARNING: This game is not for the faint-hearted!]

Do let me know when you have succeeded ya!

Teehee... Then you can teach me how to pass that darn level!

(and/or feel free to submit a comment on the game, 'kay?)

Good luck, mate! (you'll be needing it--trust me.)

Listener Discretion is Advised.

"Baby I'm Yours"

Baby, I'm yours (Baby, I'm yours)
And I'll be yours until the stars fall from the sky,
Yours, until the rivers all run dry
In other words, until I die

Baby, I'm yours (Baby, I'm yours)
And I'll be yours until the sun no longer shines,
Yours, until the poets run out of rhyme
In other words, until the end of time

I'm gonna stay right here by your side,
Do my best to keep you satisfied
Nothin' in the world could drive me away
'Cause every day, you'll hear me say

Baby, I'm yours (Baby, I'm yours)
And I'll be yours until two and two is three,
Yours, until the mountains crumble to the sea
In other words, until eternity

Baby, I'm yours
(Til the stars fall from the sky)
Baby, I'm yours
(Til the rivers all run dry)
Baby, I'm yours
(Til the sun no longer shines)
Baby, I'm yours
(Til the poets run out of rhymes)

Just close your eyes... and let the movement of the song 'drift you away'.

Farewell-(Lunch)-Gathering-Outing

Oh my gawd! Time really does ‘fly’ when I’m having fun, in’it? A year ago, Yi Lin was just interested to go abroad and filling in forms for AFS and whatnot. ...and in about TWO weeks time, she’ll be flying off to Ibaraki-ken, Japan for an entire year!

I still remember the first time we became friends in Sec. 1 and all-them-hullabaloos in between. Damn, kinda hard to believe 5 years have (already) just flashed us by.

So, in conjunction with her farewell, we decided to all go out for lunch together—for ol’ time sake.

We went to…

The afternoon started off slow, but began picking up speed sometime after we had food in our tummies! Hehehe…

[Ming Wai, Yee Ling, Ru]
[Khang Lam, Michelle, Jessie, Raymond]
Yi Lin was the photographer.

Ming Wai... Ming Wai...
siap posing with his cawan mushi some-more!
{Ehh, stoopid larr this video upload system on blogspot! Takes so friggin' long to upload a 52-seconds-long video and then it mysteriously just starts over when it feels like it! Was suppose to upload a vid' of "Yee Ling taking on some wasabi action" but... argh! *sighs*}

'Nywho,
Mmm... Check out Yi Lin's ice-cream!

Ru, Jessie and Yi Lin...

"Am soooooo gonna miss YOU, Lin!"

We hung around in Saisaki until they had to remind us that they were gonna ‘close shop’ real soon—ahahaha!

After lunch, we dawdled around until we decided what oughtta be next, on the itinerary. Next thing we knew, we were walking towards the LRT station. The day was still ‘young’ but sadly Jessie had to say goodbye to attend to her (other) responsibilities.

The day went on and one by one began disappearing home.

…And then there were 5ive. Now these 5ive little jobless youngsters decided to end the day with coffee and a whole lotta (memorable) photos! …photos we can all look back at (and laugh at even).

Coffee 'nyone?

.:Ru hearts Yi Lin:.

.:Ru hearts Yee Ling too:.

Ooh my gosh! Yee Ling & Yi Lin are soooo cute!

Ru and Ming Wai...

Ru and Kheng Lam...

and... Ru and um, Miss Chin??...

Them 'jobless youngsters'...
doing what they do BEST...
acting jobless—HAHAHA!

I totally enjoyed the day. I enjoyed not only the food we had but also the company I had. The food prolly wouldn’t have tasted so darn good without ‘em there with me really! (Come on, you too have gotta agree that eating alone is just suckishly sad and could prolly be like one of the crappiest feelings ever, no? Teehee…)

Everyone seems to have already made up their minds about what they’re gonna do after receiving their results next week (and I haven’t even decided which course I’m gonna take on, gosh!) and almost all of us are going separate ways to pursue our respective careers. It’s no longer gonna be like High School—y’know, back when we all study the same thing ‘cause ultimately we will all sit for the same government exam… and the fun part—we all attend the same tuition center. (This, more often than not, means having lunch together!)

Darn it larr!

Someday, my grandchild is gonna go,
"THAT's MY Grandmamma!"

Day out with Cousin Ben and Ching(y)

Was late for breakfast this morning thanks to well… me and the human-jam in the LRT station!

Arrived at 0937 in KDU. Met up with Benette and Chingy Ching Ching.

[Ben's baby boy, Ching, he’s cool… y’know, decent-looking-nice-guy, funny, has this thing for disabled people (he’s fascinated by ‘em) and thought this handless-and-legless dude who managed to light a match was super cool!]

Anywho, we had breakfast in the campus cafeteria. He paid for breakfast. So paiseh eh but they insisted so I graciously accepted. “Thanks you horr.” *nod and grin*

After breakfast, we went to enquire ‘bout my H&T course. Jeremy, the education counselor is this soft-spoken guy who is indeed very informative. A neat fact ‘bout Jeremy: He has training in writing words backwards (towards you, if he’s sitting directly opposite you). Considered neat larr his backwards writing. Even he-himself IS proud of this skill he has acquired when prompted ‘bout it.) Cool in’it? Heh.

After gathering all the information I needed, the three of us headed to Ching’s place to grab his car to teman Ben to her potential driving school. Sadly, when we got there, everyone seems to have left the building for “lunch” at like ELEVEN O’CLOCK?! Haha… There were only two men inside; one was sewing vests and jackets the other one was busy yelling (more like barking really) at the person on the other side of the line. Tsk tsk tsk… And then Ben and I went on to making it a joke saying like imagine if this man were to be our father and he’s barking at us at the top of his voice liddat only because we didn’t throw the trash out last night or some some—ahahahhahahaha, gosh!

So anywho, we waited a few then entually decided to head home. Guess Benny is gonna havta return there again real soon. [Oh and all the BEST to you babe throughout your experience in obtaining that big ol’ ‘P’! Hehehe…]

To kill a li’l more time, we chilled in Ching’s room. …until he had to go for class while Benny and I head for North Point. [Just have to say, Ben and Ching are like super fun to hang with. Can't thank them enough for babysitting me and taking time off their schedule to have breakfast with me.]

Arrived in North Point at about half past noon. Basically acted like nothing ‘ny lorr… all ice cool and stuff. Thankfully grandmamma was in a good mood also larr I guess—lucky me—heh!

Hanged in Ben’s room for a bit while she got her stuff organized. And get this, while discussing ‘bout where to have lunch and whatnot, Ben was brushing her teeth! She’s just brushing her teeth… at like ONE in the AFTERNOON! Ahah… I know dentist and adverts always urge us to brush our teeth three times a day, after every meal and yadaa yadaa… but it’s been awhile since I’ve actually done that myself and/or known anyone who literally does it. Interesting~~… here’s proof!

Ben's toothbrush advert!
Try it today! (with funny advert music)

After Benny’s teeth-brushing session, we proceeded to Mid Valley for lunch. Went down with Grandpa in the lift... and realized: Grandpa wears CROCS! Ahaha... How cute!

Maybe I should get him some Jibbitz for his Crocs next Christmas.

Ben and I had Toast Box. Benny ordered this bread with like chicken floss on it. =)

Ben and her Chicken Floss bread.

Ru and Ben's Chicken Floss bread.

And... "drum roll please"...
Introducing: THE Chicken Floss bread
...by itself. Haha...

So okay, after lunch, we did a li'l shoppin' before proceeding to Taylor's College of H&T.
While shopping... We found:

3.90 Oral-Me, baby!

Hahahahahahahahahaha... Goodness, that sounds sooooooooo wrong!

A spoof of Oral-B perhaps? But then again... Oral-Me????? Oh come on! What were they thinking? I can just imagine a scene where a mom and her son are like shoppin' for hygiene products and the mom goes:

Mom: Ah boy, what else would ju like?
Son : Oh Oral-Me mommy! Oral-Me!!

Ahah! Oh gawd!

Foooosh! O-kay, 'nuff 'bout orals.
The ride there (in the commuter) was fun and like didn't seem THAT long. Maybe cause I had Benny next to me, talking to me and keeping me company. In a way, I felt safe. It was so sweet of her to accompany me to Taylor's and like take time off from her day and spend it with me.
And then right, cause she didn't get a return ticket earlier so she had to buy another one for the return trip and when I heard her speak Malay to the KTM dude selling tickets, was like damn funny sial!

Ben: (Asking Ru) Where are we going again?
Ru: Um, Mid Valley.
After she got her ticket...
Ben to the KTM dude: (In a very amusing-foreign-accent) Kalau saya beli sekarang, boleh guna... later, right?
Ru: Omg... Ben, your BM is...
Ben: Aik, shaddub!
Both of us burst out into laughter while the KTM dude (who apparently didn't think it was very funny) was like stoning at the both of us
—ahahahha...

'Nywho, Got in (Taylor's H&T building)—got all the information I needed from the education counselor, Joan Toan and got outta there.
Haha, even Ben exclaimed, “Huh? That’s it? So fast!”

We were all clammy and literally covered with sweat (eew-wy!) in the KTM station while waiting for the oh-so-not-punctual-train to arrive. …and Ben was tempting me with an invitation to the pool and a bikini was even on the line—haha! But as enticing as the offer was (considering it was friggin’ hot) I had to reluctantly decline her offer cause I didn’t want to get caught up in the human-jam home later.

We made our way home separately (from KL Central)… {hug, hug, kiss, kiss}
Went home with Jordin Sparks’ Tattoo plugged on.

Got home, sat in front of the fan which was spinning at its top speed and like stoned there until I was completely cooled off. (I know, not good to sit in front of the fan liddat. Foong sap and whatnot right? But I was super hot, ‘kay?) And when I was no longer sweaty, I went to lie on the bed and naturally, I fell asleep.

[Thanks again you guys! Kisses!]

SPM Results!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.. Woi! Seriously wei… Who has the exact date as to when our SPM Results are popping up? <=(

Ini amat mencemaskan laaa… haish.

Seriously, it didn’t really hit me until I received a call this morning from Nebby asking me if the hearsay were true,

“Wei, Ru… Is it true?”
“Huh? Is what true?”
“SPM Results. Coming out this Thursday.”
“Huh?? Seriously? Wei, don’t scare me liddat larr.”

…Then she went on telling me how the tittle-tattle came to her.

Nywho, that ain’t the focus of today’s topic.
Thing is, I too hear of so many many other dates. Here, I’ll list ‘em out (if got some more, lemme know, then I’ll go add to the list):

  • February 27, 2008
  • February 28, 2008
  • March 2, 2008
  • March 6, 2008
  • March 12, 2008
  • March 13, 2008

Hahaha… feels like we all are buying lottery numbers and like wondering what number (date) will be coming out and seeing if we ‘chong’ or not, gosh.

Okay, never mind the tikam-ed dates.
How come the newspapers arr or TV arr (8 o’clock News) or MOE arr, haven’t released any news about SPM Results?
Bu ke neng they plan to keep mum until the day before results are out ne ma, horr? That’s not very er.. nice? And not to mention, unorganized.
I mean, shouldn’t there be like a system or something? …Y’know, prolly a public SPM Results announcement A WEEK before it actually comes out. That’d be nice and very much appreciated, wouldn’t you agree? =)

HR Memo

Haha... This is interesting. Am particularly fond of the "Toilet Use" section!

...The H.R. department, gotta hand it to them though. *scoffs*

To all Employees:

Dress Code

1. It is advised that you come to work dressed according to your salary. If we see you wearing Prada shoes and carrying a Gucci bag, we assume you are doing well financially and therefore do not need a pay raise.

2. If you dress poorly, you need to learn to manage your money better, so that you may buy nicer clothes, and therefore you do not need a pay raise.

3. If you dress just right, you are right where you need to be and therefore you do not need a pay raise.

Sick Days

We will no longer accept a doctor's certificate as proof of sickness.

If you are able to go to the doctor, you are able to come to work.

Holiday Days

Each employee will receive 104 personal days a year. They are called Saturdays & Sundays.

Compassionate Leave

This is no excuse for missing work. There is nothing you can do for dead friends, relatives or co-workers. Every effort should be made to have non-employees attend to the arrangements.

In rare cases where employee involvement is necessary, the funeral should be scheduled in the late afternoon. We will be glad to allow you to work through your lunch hour and subsequently leave one hour early.

Toilet Use

1. Entirely too much time is being spent in the toilet. There is now a strict three-minute time limit in the cubicles. (Oh and NO SMOKING. Only if you are the Boss.)

2. At the end of three minutes, an alarm will sound, the toilet paper roll will retract, the cubicle door will open and your picture will be taken.

3. After your second offence, your picture will be posted on the company notice board under the "Chronic Offenders" category.

4. Anyone caught smiling in the picture will be sanctioned under the company's mental health policy.

Lunch Break

1. Skinny people get 30 minutes for lunch, as they need to eat more so that they can look healthy.

2. Normal size people get 15 minutes for lunch to get a balanced meal to maintain their average figure.

3. Chubby people get 5 minutes for lunch, because that's all the time needed to drink a Slim-Fast or a bag of chips.

Thank you for your loyalty to our company. Remember we are an employer of choice and we are here to provide a positive employment experience.

Therefore, all questions, comments, concerns, complaints, frustrations, irritations, aggravations, insinuations, allegations, accusations, contemplations, consternation and input should be directed elsewhere.

Good Day!
