Day out with Jon to Sentosa

Sentosa is currently under development for the up and coming Integrated Resort (IR). There’s where you’d prolly find me in the next few years. =]

After 18 years of living so close yet so far from the Merlion, I finally managed to get up close and personal with it that day.

Meet Mr Merlion from Singapore.

Jonathan, two of his friends and I went into the Merlion and we went to both the Merlion’s mouth and head. We even managed to take a picture while we were up on its head despite the bad weather.

Then we went jalan-jalan. In conjunction with the Year of the Rat, Sentosa is having, "Sentosa Flowers 2008". When we got there, it was still rather early so most of the flowers weren't there yet. However, few days later, Jon Jon went back to Sentosa and managed to capture many b-e-a-u-tiful shots of them flowers. =]

Ooo... I like this one. They are right under the Merlion.
When I saw 'em that day, they were literally botak.
But when Jon Jon got there, they ain't bald no more!
Hehehe... So fluffy! So cute!
